Ching-Hsien Hsu (許慶賢)

Ching-Hsien Hsu is Chair Professor of the College of Information and Electrical Engineering, Asia University, Taiwan; Director of the Big Data Research Center, Asia University; Professor in the department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Chung Cheng University; Research Consultant, Dept. of Medical Research, China Medical University Hospital, China Medical University, Taiwan. His research includes cloud and edge computing, big data analytics, high performance computing systems, parallel and distributed systems, artificial intelligence, medical AI, natural language processing. He has published 350+ papers in top journals such as IEEE TPDS, IEEE TSC, ACM TOMM, IEEE TCC, IEEE TETC, IEEE System, IEEE Network, top conferences, and book chapters in these areas. Dr. Hsu is the editor-in-chief of International Journal of Grid and High Performance Computing, and International Journal of Big Data Intelligence; and serving as editorial board for a number of prestigious journals, including IEEE Transactions on Service Computing, IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, International Journal of Communication Systems, International Journal of Computational Science, AutoSoft Journal. He has been acting as an author/co-author or an editor/co-editor of 10 books from Elsevier, Springer, IGI Global, World Scientific and McGraw-Hill. Dr. Hsu was awarded seven times talent awards from Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, and nine times distinguished award for excellence in research from Chung Hua University, Taiwan. Since 2008, he has been serving as executive committee of IEEE Technical Committee of Scalable Computing; IEEE Special Technical Co mmittee Cloud Computing; Taiwan Association of Cloud Computing. Dr. Hsu is a Fellow of the IET (IEE); Chair of IEEE Technical Committee on Cloud Computing (TCCLD), a Senior member of IEEE.

Min-Shiang Hwang (黃明祥)

Min-Shiang Hwang received the B.S. in Electronic Engineering from the National Taipei Institute of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1980; the M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, in 1988; and a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1995. He also studied Applied Mathematics at the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, from 1984-1986. Dr. Hwang passed the National Higher Examination in the field "Electronic Engineer" in 1988. He also passed the National Telecommunication Special Examination in the field "Information Engineering", qualified as an advanced technician in the first class in 1990. From 1988 to 1991, he was the leader of the Computer Center at Telecommunication Laboratories (TL), Ministry of Transportation and Communications. He was also the chairman of the Department of Information Management, Chaoyang University of Technology (CYUT), Taiwan, during 1999-2002. He was a professor and chairman of the Graduate Institute of Networking and Communications, CYUT, during 2002-2003. He was a professor (2003-2007), distinguished professor (2007-2011), and chairman (2004 - 2009) of the Department of Management Information Systems, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU). He was also a visiting professor at UC. Riverside and UC. Davis (USA) during 2009-2010. He was a Dean of College of Computer Science, Asia University during 2011-2015. He obtained 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001 Distinguished Research Awards of National Science Council (Taiwan). He is currently a Chair Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Asia University, Chairman of the Sina Smart Computing Institute, and Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Network Security (EI Compendex). He is a member of IEEE, ACM, and the Chinese Information Security Association. His current research interests include information security, electronic commerce, database and data security, cryptography, image compression, and mobile computing. Dr. Hwang has published over 200+ articles on the above research fields in international journals.

Charles C.N. Wang (王昭能)

Dr. Charles C. N. Wang received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees both in bioinformatics from Asia University, Taichung, Taiwan in 2008 and 2014. He is currently an associate professor with the department of bioinformatics, Asia University, Taichung, Taiwan. He is a data scientist with exhaustive experience in Bioinformatics, Semantic Computing, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning in several domains. He has published more than 50 academic research papers in various areas of semantic computing, text mining, natural language processing, and biomedical information. He is currently appointed as the section chief of development of AI Research Center and CEO of Center for Precision Medicine Research at Asia University. He is passionate about learning and always looks forward to solving challenging analytical problems.

Dr. Massoud Moslehpour is an Associate Professor of Business Administration, Management, and Foreign Languages at Asia University, Taiwan. He has 27 years of worldwide teaching experience as a full-time faculty, visiting scholar and guest speaker in countries such as the United States, Spain, Iran, Taiwan, Indonesia, Mongolia, Vietnam, and China. Dr. Moslehpour is a well-respected professor and is the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, conference papers, and textbooks that have been published around the world. Marketing across cultures, customer loyalty and satisfaction, economic and ecological sustainability, and human resource management are among his research and consulting interests.
